We are not against college but question many of the long held assumptions about it. We think too many attend, too much is spent on it and that students are under the mistaken belief that all college degrees bestow the same benefits. And when students, parents and governments borrow recklessly to finance it, we have a huge problem.

BINGO. It's the CHOICES that women make (often to balance work with life and family) that result in them earning less than men. Another factoid that proves that there is nothing sinister behind the gender pay gap - when hours worked is factored in, the difference shrinks to only 2% (source: Payscale). The real question we should be asking is this: Why are men sacrificing their health, their families, or even their lives, to prioritize work over the truly important things lin life?
